By accessing or using the FuturElectra Rider app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Collect

• Driver Identity & Contact Information: Registered 10-digit mobile phone number used for WhatsApp OTP verification and lease communication.
• Location Data: Real-time precise latitude, longitude, speed, and GPS timestamp collected continuously during the driver's active lease term.
• Device & Diagnostics Information: Operating system version, app version code, network connection status, and device battery optimization state to ensure reliable background service execution.
• Lease & Financial Telemetry: Vehicle registration number, assigned lease identifier, weekly rental payment schedules, autopay status, and transaction references processed via authorized payment gateways.

4. How We Use Collected Data

EMDAF TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED uses your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

• To authenticate drivers and securely bind the device to the assigned commercial EV asset.
• To provide real-time vehicle monitoring, safety alerts, and battery status updates.
• To notify riders regarding weekly rental due dates, automated receipts, and periodic maintenance intervals via WhatsApp and push notifications.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent operations, contract violations, or vehicle theft.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell personal data. We only share data with vetted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform under strict confidentiality agreements:

• Razorpay: Payment gateway handling weekly rental collections and RBI-compliant e-mandates.
• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): Transmitting one-time passwords (OTP) and urgent servicing notifications.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Database Providers: Encrypted cloud hosting and telemetry database storage (Supabase / AWS / Google Cloud).
• Law Enforcement & Legal Compliance: In response to valid legal processes, court orders, or official police inquiries related to vehicle recovery.

6. Data Security & Retention

All communication between FuturElectra Rider and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. Access to telemetry and driver records is restricted to authorized personnel of EMDAF TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED with multi-factor authentication.

Driver records and lease data are retained for the duration of the active rental contract and for statutory retention periods mandated by applicable tax and accounting laws.

7. User Rights and Data Deletion

Drivers have the right to request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of their account and associated personal data when their vehicle lease has been completed and returned in good standing.
